1920s Pinnacle Half Hunter Pocket Watch and Chain

1920s Pinnacle half hunter pocket watch and chain.

The watch has a Swiss seven jewel stem-winding movement which is working well. The name Pinnale was registered by Record Watch Co SA in 1913.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop.  The case is gold plated and is the Star model made by the Dennison Watch Case Company.  There are minor surface marks but overall it is in nice condition.  There is a small central lens to the front which is surrounded by black Roman numerals. The case back has beautifully engraved monogrammed initials.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover.  The inner lens is acrylic and is in nice condition.  The white enamel dial is signed Pinnacle and in nice condition.

The watch has its original blued steel hands, including the special half hunter hour hand so even when the front cover is closed, the hands can be distinguished between and the time read.

The watch comes with a single albert, 27cm long including the clasps.

The watch and chain come in a handsome presentation box from a Southport jeweller, goldsmith and silversmith.
