The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1930s.
The movement is signed with the Denco name… Denco was one of the brand names used by Dennison for their own brand of watches. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50.6mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and is the Star model made by the Dennison Watch Case Company. The case has light surface marking from use and a couple of small "dings" but overall it is in nice condition for a 1930s piece.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. The inner lens is glass and is in nice condition. The white enamel dial is signed Denco and in nice condition.
The watch has blued steel hands designed so that the time can be read when the front cover is closed … with conventional hands, it would be impossible to tell which hand was which through the small lens.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
