Antique Hebdomas Patent Pocket Watch

1900 - 1920
Description

Antique Hebdomas Patent pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which keeps good time over 24 hours. Originally it would have run for eight days but alas it does not run for that long any more but now works nicely as a conventional pocket watch.

The watch measures 47mm diameter excluding the winding stem and loop. The case is nickel, overall it is in good condition with light surface marks and the odd mark, nothing too serious.

The watch glass is in good condition. It has a bevelled edge which has a 5mm length of nibbling but you have to look quite closely to see it.

The signed dial is in lovely condition and it has the exposed balance and regulator synonomous with Hebdomas.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
