Antique 1915 Elgin Full Hunter Pocket Watch.

Status: This item has been sold
Sold by: The Vintage Wrist Watch Company

Antique 1915 Elgin full hunter pocket watch.
The watch has a stem-winding movement, grade 292, which is working well. The movement is signed and the serial number 18487777 which dates it back to 1915. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 50.4mm diameter excluding the stem, crown and loop. The case was made by the Keystone Watch Case Company and is gold filled. The case has light surface marking from use and light wear to the bottom of the back cover but overall it is in nice condition for a 1910s piece. The front cover has monogrammed initials.
The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover.
Inside there is an acrylic lens which is in nice condition.
The signed dial has a very faint hairline crack between the sub seconds dial and the bottom but otherwise it is in nice condition.
The watch has its original blued steel hands.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
All of our watches are checked over before listing, and are also checked for accuracy which is usually within around +/- two to three minutes over 24 hours (unless otherwise stated), which is considered respectable for a vintage watch.
All of our prices include UK and worldwide postage. We are a VAT registered company and all purchases are covered by Consumer Regulations.
Credit / debit card purchases can be made over the telephone on 01386 750238 or you can proceed via the blue 'Buy now with credit card or Paypal' button on each listing page.
