Antique Early Georgian Jacobean Geometrical Oak Chest of Drawers C1720 Wdb390/29.1

Antique george 1st oak chest of drawers in the jacobean geometric style and dating from aorund 1720. It has a moulded edge to the top above two short drawers over three long graduating drawers all of which are oak lined with very slightly later georgian handles (probably around 1760) and having geometrical moulded fronts with each drawer of a different design. It is moulded to the base and has panelled sides and original rough hewn oak planked back standing on its original stiles. It is hand & peg joined.

A superb chest of drawers in very good condition with a lovely deep colour and patination to the oak oozing the charm and character of the period.

Measures: 35" high X 23.5" deep X 41" wide
