The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1900s.
The watch has a stem-winding movement Traveler grade which is working well. The movement is signed American, Waltham, U.S.A Traveler and the serial number 14405856 which dates it back to 1905. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch itself measures 50.6mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is 10ct gold filled and is the Moon model made by the Dennison Watch Case Company. The case has light surface marking from use but overall it is in nice condition for a 1900s piece.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside there is a glass lens which is in nice condition.
The signed dial is in nice condition.
The watch has its original gold hands and a blued steel sub seconds hand.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.

All of our watches are checked over before listing and are also checked for accuracy which is usually within around +/- two to three minutes over 24 hours (unless otherwise stated), which is considered respectable for a vintage watch.

We are a VAT registered company and all purchases are covered by Consumer Regulations.

Non-UK buyers are welcome but payment can be made by Paypal only.
Please note that we are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
