Gents 9ct gold Longines wrist watch, 1958.

The watch has a Longines calibre 12.68Z hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 10,576,658 dates it back to 1958.

The watch measures 33mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is 9 carat gold and there are hallmarks inside the case back for Birmingham 1957, together with the case maker's mark for Aaron Dennison and the name Baume, the UK importer of Longines watch.

Overall the case is in good condition, just a couple of pin prick “dings” to the back and very light surface marks but overall very acceptable.

The lens is in good condition.

The signed dial is in lovely condition and it has its original dauphine shaped hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch will come in a new presentation box.
