Description

Gents 1950s Gruen Precision Power-Glide automatic wrist watch.

The watch has an automatic movement, 560 RSS, which is working nicely. This was based on an ebauche from Bidlingmaier who supplied Gruen, it was available in a 17 jewel version and also 23 as we have in this particular watch.

The watch measures 35mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is stainless steel and it has some surface marks, mainly to the signed case back, but overall is in good condition. Original signed winding crown.

The lens is in good condition.

The signed dial is in good condition with original dauphine shaped hands and centre seconds sweep.

A later leather strap has been fitted.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
