Fine Original 18th Century Mahogany Tallboy

Description

SUPERB 18th century George III mahogany two part tallboy in wonderful original, un-touched condition. The whole piece is a beautiful original colour with great patination, just been waxed from new. Very nice original bold shape gilded brass swan neck handles. All the original bracket feet. The cornice with ebony stringing and dentil decoration is very typical of the period.

The drawers are all oak lined and are all in very good clean condition.

There is an old bill of sale from 1962 which is interesting inside.

As good a tallboy of this period as you'll find.
