A Fine Benrus USA Army Issued Early Vietnam Watch, Dated Sept 1964

1940 - 1960
Description

  Benrus DTU-2A/P MIL-W-3818B.  For sale a fine Benrus USA Army issued early Vietnam watch, dated Sept 1964, a time when America was not fully involved in the Vietnam conflict.  This is the first issued version and is in very fine original and unrestored condition, including its original slot marked winding crown, although very slightly off centre. Full military issue marks to the one piece Parkerized front loading case, for extra protection. The movement is the correct DTU-2A/P 17 jewel movement with hack. Excellent original 12 and 24 hour dial retaining all Tritium luminous paint to dot markers and handset. Possibly the original strap. The watch is in full working order keeping accurate time.
