A simply stunning and rare design George III large serpentine shaped chest-of-drawers.
c1770.

Ornate brass rococo design swan-neck handles and matching escutcheons. Retaining the original locks to each drawer.
Original condition to the figured mahogany, with a rich colour and patina.
The chest is constructed in two parts, making it very easy to move and maneuver.

Excellent antique condition. Expected signs of general age and use. Replacement handles, stylistically correct. Minor historical repairs to a couple of the drawer corners.
Very solid, heavy, strong and sturdy.
