Gents 9ct gold Omega wrist watch, 1950.

The watch has a hand-winding movement, calibre 265, which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Omega name and the serial number 12,083,188 dates it back to 1950.

The watch measures 33.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is 9 carat gold and is hallmarked for Birmingham 1950 with a maker's mark for the Dennison Watch Case Company who made gold cases for Omega. The winding crown is a later plain replacement.

The lens is in lovely condition.

The signed dial is in its original finish with original feuille shaped hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
