The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The watch has a Swiss stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is stamped Record, 17 jewels, Swiss made. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 50.6mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and is the Star model by the English watch case maker Aaron Dennison.
The back cover has monogrammed initials.

The front cover has a small lens surrounded by enamel filled Roman numerals. The front cover is opened by pressing the winding crown in.
The winding crown pushes down to open the front cover. It reveals a white enamel dial with a glass lens which is in nice condition. The signed double sunk dial is in nice condition.
The watch has its original blued steel hands including the special half hunter hour hand so the time can be read when the front cover is closed.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
