The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The movement is stamped 15 jewels, Swiss made. It is protected by an inner hinged cover which has a presentation inscription for 25 years.

The watch measures 50.7mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the two case backs for Birmingham 1929 with the case makers mark for the Dennison Watch Case Company. The case has light surface marking from use but overall it is in nice condition.

The glass lens is in good condition.
The dial is signed James Wadsworth, Manchester, the original retailer of the watch. The dial is in lovely condition with original hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
