Description

Gents Longines wrist watch, 1934.

The watch has a hand-winding movement, calibre 20.28, which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed with the Longines name and also the B&Co mark for Baume, UK importers of Longines watches. The serial number 5,279,580 dates it back to 1934.

The watch measures 22mm wide excluding the winding crown and 32mm high excluding the lugs. The case is stainless steel. There are a few surface scratches to the back but overall the condition is good for such an early piece. The inside of the case back has the same serial number as the movement.

The curved lens is in good condition.

The dial is in its original finish with stylised numbers, blued steel hands and inner minute markers.

A later leather strap has been fitted.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
