An antique 1919 silver Waltham pocket watch.
The watch has a key-wound movement which is working nicely. ( A winding key is included )The movement is the Sterling grade and the serial number 22575144 tells us that it was made in 1919. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 52.3mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop. The case is silver and has Chester hallmarks for 1919 with a makerís mark for Isaac Jabez Theo Newsome . The case has light surface marking from use and a small "ding" to the back but overall it is in nice condition for an 1910s piece.
The glass lens is in nice condition.
The signed enamel dial has a couple very faint hairline cracks to the bottom although not noticeable, but otherwise it is in nice condition.
The watch has its original blued steel hands.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
All of our watches are checked over before listing, and are also checked for accuracy which is usually within around +/- two to three minutes over 24 hours (unless otherwise stated), which is considered respectable for a vintage watch.
All of our prices include UK and worldwide postage. We are a VAT registered company and all purchases are covered by Consumer Regulations.
Credit / debit card purchases can be made over the telephone on 01386 750238 or you can proceed via the blue 'Buy now with credit card or Paypal' button on each listing page.
