Antique Early Victorian Jacobean Geometric Oak Chest of Drawers C1830 Wdb380/13.1

This is a lovely early victorian geometric chest in the jacobean style and dating from aorund 1830 being an exact copy of a 17th century chest.constructed form solid oak it is hand & peg joined. It has a plank top with moulded edge above three long graduating drawers all of which are oak lined and with original brass handles nad escutcheons. The drawer fronts are geometrically moulded giving the appearance of six short drawers. It is moulded to the base and supported on large bun feet. It is panelled to the sides and has its original oak panelled back.

This is a stunning chest of drawers with a lovely deep colour and patination to the oak oozing teh charm and character of the 17th century period.

Measures: 35" high X 22" deep X 40" wide
