Antique silver Omega pocket watch and chain.

The watch has a stem-winding movement, signed with the Omega logo, which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has Continental silver marks.

The watch measures 47mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the loop. The case is silver and there are Continental hallmarks inside the case back for 935 silver which is slightly purer than 925 sterling silver. Overall the case is in good condition, just minor marking but nothing serious at all.

The watch glass is in lovely condition.

The white enamel dial has been left blank for the jeweller to add their name and address if required, this is something we see a lot of in watches from the early part of the 20th Century. There are some hairline cracks to the dial but they are faint and the dial is secure. Blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.

The watch comes with an interesting silver single chain, hallmarked on the T-bar and the clasp for London 1927. The chain measures 18cm long.

The watch and chain will be sent in a vintage presentation box from a Batley based jeweller.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
