Description

Gents Smiths wrist watch, circa 1960.

The watch has a calibre 0104 hand-winding movement (Smiths Imperial introduced in 1958) which is working nicely. From the photos, there appears to be two empty screw holes... these are not required as the movement is retained by the case.

The watch measures 30mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the articulated lugs. The case is stainless steel and it is in good condition, just the odd minor mark. The case was made by E.B.E and we suspect that it is not original to the movement.

The lens is in good condition.

The signed dial is in good condition. The infill has been removed from the hour and minute hands at some point.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
