Antique 1906 Waltham pocket watch.

The watch has a 15 jewel stem-winding movement, grade 620, which is working well. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 14977243 which dates it back to 1906. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50.2mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is 10ct gold filled and is the Moon model from the watch case manufacturer Dennison. Dennison supplied many watch makers with cases but they had a particularly close relationship with Waltham. The case is in nice condition with only minor surface marking from use. The inner dust cover has a couple of light surface scratches.

The watch glass is in nice condition with only the odd minor mark from use.

The signed dial has a very faint hairline crack at 9 o'clock but overall it is in nice condition.

The watch has its original gold hands and blued steel sub seconds hand.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
