French Leather Upholstered Bed with Low End

Very decorative and unusual French bed with a low foot end and lovely original leather, finished with studs.

The bed is intended to hold a double mattress, but you could get away with a kingsize on it and overhang the sides by a couple of cm's either side.

The leather is such a fantastic colour and in good condition. There are a couple of wounds to the foot end rail as you can see in the photos, but these have been glued down so they will not grow. Good character to the leather and has a good polished finish to it.

Being a low end to the footboard, it suits a smaller bedroom really well, but also if somebody is tall and doesn't want a full panel at the foot end to get in the way.

There is an existing supporting box base that is included, but there are some tears to this. Nothing major and just due to age. This can be re covered if you would rather.

Headboard 51'' or 130cm high

Footboard 12 3/4'' or 32.5cm high

Max width of frame is 56'' or 142cm

Max length of frame is 85'' or 216cm

Mattress 4'6'' x 6'3'' or 135cm x 190cm
