The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1930s.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working well. The Swiss movement is signed Thomas Russell & Son , Liverpool. Premier. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has a personal inscription dated 1933.

The watch itself measures 51.7mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and is the Thomas Russell model made by the Illinois Watch Case Company. The case has light surface marking from use and a few small "dings" mainly to the bottom of the back cover but overall it is in nice condition for a 1930s piece.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside, there is a glass lens which is in nice condition.
The dial is signed Thomas Russell & Son Liverpool. Premier. The dial is in nice condition .
The watch has its original blued steel hands.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
