Description

Gents 9 carat gold Accurist wrist watch, 1960.

The watch has a good quality ETA movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Accurist name.

The watch itself measures 31.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is 9 carat gold and there are hallmarks inside the case back for Birmingham 1960 with a case maker’s mark for the Dennison Watch Case Company. The front of the case is in good condition. The case back has some unevenness.

The lens is in good condition.

The dial is in its original finish which is in good condition with just very minor marking, original dauphine shaped hands (a little discoloured) and an early quickset date where the hands are moved backwards and forwards between 12 midnight and 8.30pm until the desired date is reached.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch will be sent in a vintage Accurist presentation box.
