A 1920s silver Cyma pocket watch with chain.

The watch has a signed stem-winding movement which is working well. The movement is stamped 7 jewels, adjusted, Swiss made and the Cyma calibre number 999. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has some scratches to the edge where it has been opened in the past.

The watch itself measures 49mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and has Birmingham hallmarks for 1928 with the makers mark for the Dennison Watch Case Company. The front is in good condition while the back has three little “dings” but overall it is in nice condition for a 1920s piece.

The acrylic lens is in nice condition.

The white dial is in good condition and has blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch comes on an antique silver graduated albert chain which measures 34 cm including the T bar and clasp. The chain weighs 29.8 grams.

The watch and chain will be sent in a new presentation box.
