The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has an engraving, 'Fom his father to H C Price, 1916'.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and was made by Dennison, a prolific manufacturer of cases who supplied many watch makers. The case is in good condition, just minor surface marks but nothing serious.

The watch glass has minor marking, but is very acceptable.
The dial is in good condition and has blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
The watch comes with a single chain, 26cm long including the T-bar and the clasp.
The watch and chain will be sent in a new presentation box.
