The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1930s.
The watch has a signed Swiss 15-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely.
The watch measures 28mm wide excluding the winding crown and 28mm high excluding the lugs.
The case is 9 carat gold and there are hallmarks inside the case back for Chester 1933 with a maker's mark for the Birmingham case makers Smith, Ewen & Stylic Ltd. The case is in good condition, just a small slight indentation to the bezel.

The lens is in lovely condition.
The signed dial is in good original condition and the inner 24 hour dial is a nice feature. The hands would have had infill in originally but this has been removed over the years.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
