1930s silver Limit pocket watch and chain.

The watch has a signed Swiss stem-winding movement which is working nicely.

The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has a 1933 long service inscription from Imperial Chemical Industries.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and is hallmarked inside both of the case backs for Birmingham 1933 with a case maker's mark for Aaron Dennison, a prolific case maker who supplied various watch makers with cases. The case is in very nice condition with just light surface marks, nothing serious at all, and the engine turned detail to the back is still nice and crisp.

The acrylic lens is in good condition.

The signed dial is in lovely condition with original blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch comes with a Continental silver single chain, 29cm long including the T-bar and the clasp. There is also a shorter chain which has an antique silver swivel with bloodstone and carnelian.

The watch and chain will be sent in a new presentation box.
