Description

Antique Omega steam train pocket watch, c1912.

The watch has a patterned stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Omega name and it is all protected by an inner hinged cover which is also signed Omega, and it has details of trade medals won in the Paris Grand Prix trade exhibition of 1900.

The watch measures 52mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is nickel and it has a steam train image to the hinged case back. The inside of the case back has the early Omega stamp. Overall the case is in good condition, just a little unevenness to the back but nothing too serious at all.

The acrylic lens is in good condition.

The signed enamelled dial is in lovely condition and the ornate numbers are a most charming feature.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
