Superb Antique William 1v Flamed Mahogany Chest on Chest of Drawers C1820 Wdb4176/6.12

Description

Extremely handsome antique william 1v flamed mahogany chest on chest and dating from around 1820. It has a deep flared cornice top above a serpentine frieze with two short drawers over three long graduating drawers and with turned columns to either side of the chest. The base has a canted and cross banded frieze above three long graduating drawers all of the drawers are pine lined and with original tiger mahogany knob handles inset with mother of pearl. It stands on turned mahogany feet.

In very good condition with a lovely deep colour and original patination to the mahogany oozing the charm and character of the william 1v period.

Separates into two pieces for ease of transporting.

Measures: 80" high X 20" deep X 51" wide
