Antique Silver Waltham Pocket Watch & Chain

Antique silver Waltham Traveler pocket watch and chain.

The watch has a stem-winding movement, Traveler grade, which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 23,284,690 dates it back to around 1919.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The heavy case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the screw-on case back for Birmingham 1922 with a maker's mark for Aaron Dennison, the Dennison Watch Case Company made the majority of the cases for Waltham UK. The case is in lovely condition, just a couple of small marks to the bezel but nothing serious at all.

The watch glass is in lovely condition as is the dial with blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch comes with an interesting chain, probably Continental silver, 32cm long including the T-bar and clasp, and also a 1909 silver fob.

The watch and chain will be sent in a new presentation box.
