Rich Mahogany Serpentine Victorian Antique Chiffonier

This fine quality Rich Mahogany Serpentine Victorian Antique Chiffonier dates from ca. 1870 and has a beautifully carved scrolled back with small shelf and shaped brackets. The top is serpentine shaped and has a frieze drawer above two beautifully figured doors. It has canted corners with quality carved corbels and the piece sits on a serpentine shaped plinth. This lovely antique has aged to a rich Mahogany shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
