Gents 9ct gold Baume wrist watch, 1963.

The watch has a Swiss 17-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely.

The watch measures 32.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is 9 carat gold and there are hallmarks inside the case back for London 1963 together with a case maker's mark for David Shackman and the Baume mark. The case has a small “ding” to the back but nothing too serious at all, and a little marking to the winding crown.

Baume were importers of watches into the UK and were also the UK agents for Longines.

The lens is in good condition.

The dial has been professionally re-finished at some stage in its life and it has had the word Baumatic added where it should say 17 Jewels.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
