Description

Gents 1950s Wittnauer wrist watch.

The watch has a Swiss 17-jewel automatic movement, 11 ARB, which is working nicely.

The watch measures 31mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the handsomely shaped lugs so it would suit a slimmer wrist. The case is 10ct gold filled and it is in lovely condition. The screw-on case back is stainless steel, it has some scratching towards the edge of the back, probably from a tool that has slipped.

The lens is in good condition.

The signed dial is in its original finish which has some darkening but overall a pleasing appearance with dauphine shaped hands, centre seconds and outer minute markers.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
