The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1940s.
The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the loop. The case was made by the Crescent Watch Case Company and is stamped 'sterling'. The front and back of the case has engine turned detail which is still nice and crisp.
There is some scratching inside the covers, together with a lightly scratched name of a previous owner.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside there is an acrylic lens which is in good condition. The surrounding bezel is a contrasting rose gold plate to match the winding crown and hinge.
The white enamel dial is in lovely condition with blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
