1930s Favor Full Hunter Pocket Watch

1930s Favor full hunter pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the name Favor, a brand name registered by at least nine companies over the years but we believe this to be a Schätzle & Tschudin piece. The movement is protected by an inner dust cover which has light marking but nothing too detrimental at all.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is a good quality case, gold plated and originally guaranteed to wear for 20 years. The case is handsomely detailed on all surfaces and is in good condition, just three small shallow “dings”, nothing serious at all.. The front cover has a blank cartouche.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside there is an acrylic lens which is in good condition.

The signed dial is in its original finish, a 3D effect block pattern. Original hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers with blue 24 hour numbers.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
