The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1890s.
The watch has a stem-windng movement, Hillside grade, which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 5401662 dates it back to 1892. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is 14ct gold plated. There is some rubbing to the plate around the hinge and light surface marks from use.
The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside there is a glass lens.

The signed dial is in good condition with blued steel hands, including the special half hunter hour hand. The hands are lever set.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
