Gents 9ct gold Bernex wrist watch, 1966.

Bernex was established in Switzerland in 1858, in the watchmaking village of Les Breuleux. Since that time Bernex watches have been manufactured and sold by the Bouverat family throughout the world for over a 100 years.

This particular watch has a signed 17-jewel Swiss hand-winding movement which is working nicely.

The watch itself measures 33.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is 9 carat gold and there are hallmarks inside the case back for Birmingham 1966. The case has light marking but overall is very acceptable for a 1966 piece.

The lens is in good condition.

The signed dial has light marking mainly around the edge and not too detrimental.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
