Description

1930s Limit No 2 pocket watch.

The watch has a Swiss stem-winding movement, signed Limit No 2, which is working nicely.

The watch measures 54mm diameter excluding the winding stem so a little larger than a usual 50mm diameter pocket watch. The chunky case is nickel and it has screw-on bezel and case back, a nice sign of quality. There are general surface marks from use but nothing too deep and not detrimental.

The watch has a good thick glass lens... there is the odd small mark but overall very acceptable.

The white enamel dial is in good condition with original blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers. As well as being signed Limit No 2, it also has the original retailer's name, E Catlow, Clitheroe.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
