Description

1920s Thomas Russell & Son pocket watch with inspection window.

Thomas Russell & Son was a well respected business having achieved a Royal Warrant as watch and clock makers to the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh.

In 1881 the company started importing movements from Switzerland, such as the one we have in this particular watch which is a Swiss 15 jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely.

The watch measures 48mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and it is in good condition.

Both the front and back of the watch have glass lenses, both of which are in good condition.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
