Large Victorian Oak Antique Chest of Drawers

Of larger proportions and with lots of storage this Victorian Oak and Ash Antique Chest of Drawers dates from ca. 1880 and has wonderful country house charm and character. This fine chest has very unusual drawer configuration, having a central hat drawer, flanked by four smaller drawers over three longer drawers all with brass swan neck handles. There is a key with several working locks. The chest stands on a moulded plinth and has aged to a warm oak shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
