Teak Brass Bound Military Chest

Description

Circa 1860, teak two-part, brass-bound, military chest, likely made in England. The rectangular top with brass corners is in figured teak and beneath is an unusual combination of 2 short and 2 deep drawers, over 3 long drawers. This is all with its original inset military handles and Bramah locks (a sign of quality), and is supported on neat turned feet.
