Gents 9ct rose gold Buren wrist watch, 1938.

The watch has a signed Swiss 15-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely.

The watch measures 31.2mm wide excluding the winding crown and 31.2mm high excluding the lugs. The case is 9 carat rose gold and there are hallmarks inside the case back for Edinburgh 1938. The case has a minor surface marking to the back but overall the condition is very nice for a 1930s piece.

The lens is is in good condition.

The silvered dial is in good condition, it has darkened with age but still easy to read. Original Breguet style hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
