1940s Smiths Pocket Watch and Chain

Description

1960s Smiths pocket watch and chain.

The watch has a stem-winding movement, made in England, which is working nicely.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is an Eclipse gold plated case, also made in England, and it is in good condition with just minor surface marking. The back of the watch has a long service inscription from the London Electricity Board.

The watch glass is in good condition.

The off-white dial is signed Smiths, Made in England and it is in good condition.

The watch comes with a single chain, 32cm long including the T-bar and the clasp. There is some marking to the T-bar.

The watch and chain will be sent in a new presentation box.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
