This rare 18th Century Walnut Norfolk Chest has a wonderful colour and warmth to it, as well as good patination. With 7 Oak lined drawers, as well as a central cupboard there is plenty of storage space. The central cupboard is of course the notable feature of all Norfolk chests.

A pleasing feature of this chest is the secret locking mechanism to the 4 smaller drawers that automatically lock when closed, and are released by releasing the sprung catch underneath, that can be seen in the photograph. The locking mechanism is fully working, and the chest comes complete with working keys for the locks.
