Description

Gents 1960s Smiths Astral wrist watch, made in England.

The watch has a hand-winding movement, 60464E, which is working nicely.

The watch measures 34mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is gold plated and it is in good condition with just light marking. The stainless steel case back has a couple of short scratches. The winding crown is a later replacement, probably slightly larger than the original to make it easier to wind.

The lens is in good condition.

The signed dial is in lovely original condition with original dauphine shaped hands and centre seconds hand with red detailing.

A later strap has been fitted.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
