The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1950s.
The watch has a Swiss 'first quality' hand-winding movement which is working nicely.

The watch measures 30mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs so it is classed as mid-size and would suit a man with a slimmer wrist. The case is 9 carat gold and there are hallmarks inside the case back for Birmingham 1959 with a maker's mark for the Dennison Watch Case Company, a prolific manufacturer of cases for various watch makers. The back of the watch has a 1960 long service inscription.

The lens is in good condition.
The signed dial has its original hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers. There is a little freckling if you look very closely.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
