The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1960s.
The watch has an automatic movement, calibre 290, which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 11634851 dates it back to 1961.

The watch measures 35mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is 9 carat gold and there are hallmarks inside the case back for London 1962 together with Continental hallmarks, the Longines logo and the marks for Baume, the importers of Longines watches to the Commonwealth and the UK.

The case is in good condition, just a small slight indentation to the back. The back of the watch has a 1965 engraving for services rendered.
The winding crown is signed with the Longines name.
The lens is in good condition.

The signed dial has light freckling across it although you have to look closely to see it. Original hands, centre seconds and outer minute markers.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
