The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1960s.
The watch has a Longines hand-winding movement, calibre 420, which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 13,349,249 dates it back to 1966.
The watch measures 34mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs.
The case is in good condition, just few little short scratches to the edge of the case back but not too detrimental at all. The back of the watch has a 1959 engraving which is a little bit strange on a 1966 watch... perhaps they were hoping to give him a watch for 40 years' service but he left their employ so they commemorated the 30 year milestone instead.

The lens is in good condition.
The signed dial is in its original finish and it has its original hands and a subsidiary seconds dial. There is a little marking around the very edge but otherwise it is in good condition.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
