Rare Government Railway Melbourne Australia Issue Railway Pocket Watch by Waltham, Circa 1895

For sale this rare fine Government Railway, Melbourne, Australia, issue pocket watch, by Waltham dating circa 1895. This large heavy pocket watch is in remarkable original condition. The enamel dial set with its original deep blue hand set. The fully stamped case is in excellent condition and engraved to the back is the issue marks and numbered 1558. The fully signed Waltham movement is working well keeping time. Original key. Diameter 57.5cm excluding the bow section and 2.1cm deep. Quite a rare railway related timepiece from the Victorian period and from one of the Empire Countries early years.
