Handsome Antique Victorian Mahogany Serpentine Sideboard Chiffonier C1870 Wdb180/13.11

This is a large antique victorian serpentine fronted mahogany chiffonier sideboard and dating from aorund 1870. It has a large removable mirrored back set within a mahogany frame with carved crest to the centre and carved to the shoulders and with intricately carved supports. The base has a moulded edge to the serpentine shaped front (with faint joint line to the back). This is above three serpentine shaped frieze drawers with two deep drawers to the centre and with two arched panelled doors to either side with shelf behind. All of the drawers are pine lined and with original brass handles and it stands on turned mahogany feet.

A very nice chiffonier in very good condition and with a deep rich colour and patination to the mahogany. It measures: height to mirror 72" X heoght to base 33" X 21" deep X 70" long
